بِسْمِ االلهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillā alrrahmāni alrrahīmi
In the name of Allāh the Beneficent, the Merciful.
اَللّـهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّد وَآلِ مُحَمَّد
allāhumma salli'alā muhammadin wa āli muhammadin
O Allāh, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad.
إِلَهِي عَظُمَ الْبَلاَءُ
illahi a’dhumal balaa
My Allāh, irretrievable is our plight,
وَ بَرِحَ الْخَفَاءُ
wa barihal khafaa’
our helplessness causes pain and trouble,
وَ انْكَشَفَ الْغِطَاءُ
wa’n kashafal ghiţaa’
(now our) urgency has been laid bare (before Thee),
وَ انْقَطَعَ الرَّجَاءُ
wa’n qaţ’ar‐rajaa’
(all) hopes have been cut off,
وَ ضَاقَتِ الْأَرْضُ وَ مُنِعَتِ السَّمَاءُ
wa dhaqatil ardhu wa muni’atissamaa’
the earth has shrunk for us, the heavenly blessings have been withheld,
وَ أَنْتَ الْمُسْتَعَانُ وَ إِلَيْكَ الْمُشْتَكَى
wa‐antal musta’anu wa‐ilaykal mushtaka
we call upon Thee for help, we refer our grief and sorrow to Thee,
وَ عَلَيْكَ الْمُعَوَّلُ فِي الشِّدَّةِ وَ الرَّخَاءِ
wa‐alaykal mu’awalu fee shid’dati war’rakhaa’
we have full faith in Thee, in the time of distress as well as in good fortune.
اَللّـهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّد وَآلِ مُحَمَّد
Allāhuma sali’i ‘alaa Muham’madiwn wa‐ali Muham’mad
O Allāh, send blessings on Muhammad and on the children of Muhammad,
أُولِي الْأَمْرِ الَّذِينَ فَرَضْتَ عَلَيْنَا طَاعَتَهُمْ
oolil amril ladhina faradhta alayna ta ‘atahum
whom we must obey as per Your command,
وَ عَرَّفْتَنَا بِذَلِكَ مَنْزِلَتَهُمْ
wa’ar’raftana bidhalika manzilatahum
through which we become aware of their rank and status
فَفَرِّجْ عَنَّا بِحَقِّهِمْ فَرَجاً عَاجِلاً
fa far’rij ‘an’na bihak’kihim farajan ‘aajilan
and let there be joy after sorrow for us, for their sake, right away,
قَرِيباً كَلَمْحِ الْبَصَرِ أَوْ هُوَ أَقْرَبُ
qareeban kalamihil basari au huwa aqrab
in the twinkle of an eye, more rapidly than that.
يَا مُحَمَّدُ يَا عَلِيُّ يَا عَلِيُّ يَا مُحَمَّدُ
ya Muham’madu, ya ‘Ali’yu, ya ‘Ali’yu, ya Muham’mad
O Muhammad, O AIi, O Ali, O Muhammad,
اكْفِيَانِي فَإِنَّكُمَا كَافِيَانِ
ik fiyaani fa inakuma kaafiyaani
Give me enough, because both of you provide sufficiently,
وَ انْصُرَانِي فَإِنَّكُمَا نَاصِرَانِ
wansuraanee fa inakuma naasiraani
and help me, because both of you help and protect.
يَا مَوْلاَنَا يَا صَاحِبَ الزَّمَانِ
ya maulana ya Sahibazzaman
O our master, O the living Imam
الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ
al‐ghauth, al‐ghauth, al‐ghauth,
Help! Help! Help!
أَدْرِكْنِي أَدْرِكْنِي أَدْرِكْنِي
adriknee, adriknee, adriknee,
Come to my help! Come to my help! Come to my help!
السَّاعَةَ السَّاعَةَ السَّاعَةَ
asa ‘ata, asa ‘ata, asa ‘ata, (asa’aa)
Reach me! Reach me! Reach me! At Once, in this Hour,
الْعَجَلَ الْعَجَلَ الْعَجَلَ
al’ajal, al’ajal, al’ajal,
Be Quick, Be Quick, Be Quick
يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ
ya Arhamar Raahimeen
O the Most Merciful
بِحَقِّ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ الطَّاهِرِين
bihaki Muham’madiwn wa’alihitahireen.
